Spring. A Haiku

The Light Changed to spring.

What is it I mean by that?

This Haiku will tell.

The pale, translucent,

Winter glow makes way for spring.

Warm, vibrant, rich hues.

The grass is greener,

Flowers turn their petals upward.

To welcome the sun.

Trees give life to buds,

Reach towards a bluer sky.

Leaves give timely shade.

New life also sprouts,

In the animal kingdom.

Fawn, Lamb, Calf, and Foal.

Inside me, a spark.

An idea of spring within.

Newness completes soul.
